You have been given a study sheet. Complete all words and questions on your study sheet on a seperate piece of looseleaf and return them to me. If you turn in a completed study packet on the day of your test you will recieve 5 extra points on your exam.

8th grade- Turn in HW notebook. Make sure your cartoon or poem clearly responds to the pro-slavery arguments we saw in class on Wednesday. Does your work talk about slavery from the slave or free north perspective? Does it specifically refute the proslavery arguments? Use the chart we made in class!!!!
7th Grade - Rewrite your essay!!! Proof read and make all the changes neccesary!! Use the criticism, list of problems, you put together in class to double check all parts of your work!

assignments 10/2

8th grade - Create a poem or cartoon that talks about slavery from the point of view of an abolitionist or a slave. Please use the poem and picture ideas that we investigated in class to help you brainstorm.
What will your author be saying about slavery. Who will their audience be? What reasons will they give to back up their understanding of slavery?

7th grade - Please use the info you learned about kings of Copan to work on your essay! Due Thursday typed!

7th Grade - Begin to type your Maya essay based on the artifacts you have studied in class, SCREAMGP, and the information you have gathered from the documentary we have been viewing. Final Due Thursday! Please make sure you include as much of the information you have learned as possible.
